Classic Game Room HD reviews A BOY AND HIS BLOB for Nintendo Wii, a side scrolling plaformer puzzle game with a very cool hand-drawn style animation. A “reimaging” of the NES original, your character feeds the blob jellybeans which allow him to turn into various objects that help in the journey through 4 worlds and about 40 levels. i’m not really a casual gamer but i bought this at best buy because of the buy 2 get one free sale and i love the game. it’s really unique and kind of a throwback to the games i had growing up, yes i still have the nes version also lol.

It was, David Crane’s “A Boy and His Blob” I remember seeing ads in old GamePro magazines back in the day, never saw it out here in Australia though, looks like a cool idea for a game – sort of Kirby and Kid!
Shiz, Ive just had a flash back to playing this when I was young…stange how memorys can just flood back to you. Kinda want to play this…just for old times

but I have a wii and there are some games like brawl that dont use the motion controls. I find myself playing those to chill out.
This was a NES Game too i remember this as a Child. Playing it. remembering How Hard it was.
I Want to play the Wii Remake. cause the game is fun and Simple. Just as it was on the NES.

This looks better than the original, which was one of those massive games that takes hours of trial and error to figure out how to complete.
Wow same here, I found out that my Wii is only good for Homebrew… But I still play Brawl occasionally and the Gamecube games are still fun

I totaly agree. I used to play computer games to meet up with people & have a few beers, Cook a Pizza etc. But now, they are all just stuck in their Rooms with a fucking Headset on! SAD. I’ve stopped playing computer games because of that reason, & the fact that I bought a Fucking Wii oh god. And you can rarely chillout to a game on the Wii without having to break into sweat. I use it purely as an emulator now.
PLUS, so many games are just Goldeneye with a few added features + Graphics. Yawn.
